Irene Kim founded IRENEISGOOD in 2018 with the mission to bring “more expressions of love and encouragement to the world.” IRENEISGOOD strives to empower people to stay true to one’s self, embrace individuality and to bring color and joy to everything. “It’s not about what you’re wearing, but who you are when you’re wearing it,” Irene shared. “This is a colorful collection that just makes you feel good while still being you.”
The Vans x IRENEISGOOD collaboration is rooted in finding individuality and self-expression through the power of positivity. The collection features two key footwear styles, as well as an assortment of apparel that uses bold patterns, playful silhouettes and a sense of whimsy and charm to convey the IRENEISGOOD mindset.
The UA Authentic 44 DX is given a refresh for Holiday 2022, with a soft and luxe velvet upper and an aura-like tie-dye print. The fuzzy green laces complement and contrast the sherbert-hued upper, and Vans’ iconic Checkerboard pattern covers the footbed. The outsole is a subtle, translucent white glitter rubber that catches the eye with every movement and brings play and whimsy to every step.
In addition to the footwear, the collection includes the IRENEISGOOD sweater, a fuzzy, oversized-fit cardigan with a multi-colored jacquard print, and a heart patch at the left chest; the IRENEISGOOD OS tee, made from a heavy cotton jersey with a vintage wash; the IRENEISGOOD IRENEISGOOD sherpa jacket, which is a sherpa full-zip jacket with a high collar, nylon pockets, a bungee drawcord at the sweep and an all-over jacquard print. The apparel also features the IRENEISGOOD matching bralette and legging, both of which feature a multi-color checkerboard print and a cotton construction. The legging features a solid waistband and a graphic at the high hip.
