Fergus Purcell, or more affectionately known by the moniker “Fergadelic” (inspired by 1970s psychedelic funk band Funkadelic) is a British illustrator, graphic artist, and designer living and working in London.
Tall with long, wavy hair, and adorned with hundreds of homemade stick-and-poke method tattoos, Fergus is not someone you’d casually walk by without noticing—but his soft-spoken, calm, and humble demeanor is a stark contrast from what you’d expect from this creative virtuoso.
Purcell has done logo, brand, and graphic design work for several fashion, street, and skate labels, with a reputation for an aesthetic sensibility appealing to a wide range of label powerhouses. With a client and collaboration roster comprised of names such as JWAnderson, Undercover, Junya Watanabe, Alexander McQueen, and Calvin Klein for Raf Simons, Ferg not only understands and appreciates the convergence of high and low, but helps define a design world that combines high fashion with obscurity.

This footwear, apparel, and accessories collection serves as a visual homage to bodegas, utilizing allover soft drink silhouettes with pops of color that lend to Ferg’s psychedelic creative themes.
When designing this collection, Fergus said, “I loved the contrast between the mundane ubiquity of the corner shop, and the bewildering variety of the products inside — it’s like stepping into a portal.”
