RÆBURN is a collaborative, creative fashion studio where daily design meets responsible production. This season, Vans and RÆBURN celebrate responsible design and intentional use of technical materials for a capsule of footwear and apparel informed by RÆBURN’s unique design ethos.
Made with organic cotton canvas uppers featuring a camouflage print and an ankle buckle, the Vans x RÆBURN Sk8-Hi GTX VR3 features a clean aesthetic with functional upgrades. Rubber toe caps and the addition of waterproof GORE-TEX® coating means that your feet stay dry no matter the conditions, and the biobased foam VR3Cush™ footbed offers comfort that you can feel good about. Along with new VR3Waffle™ outsole that uses natural rubber while still maintaining the grip and durability that Vans has been known for since ’66, this elevated Sk8-Hi keeps things classic while delivering a distinct RÆBURN touch.
VR3 is the Vans commitment to sourcing 100% of our top 4 CO2 impact materials (cotton, leather, rubber and polyester) from Regenerative, Renewable, and/or Recycled sources by 2030.
PRODUCT FEATURES:
• UPPER MATERIAL: Made with 100% Organic Cotton Canvas and GORE-TEX® coating.
• FOOTBED: The new VR3Cush™ footbed is made using at least 25% biobased EVA foam partially derived from plants per the ASTM D6866-16 testing standard.
• OUTSOLE: The all-new VR3Waffle™ made with a proprietary compound containing at least 25% natural rubber. This new rubber compound was developed and engineered to maintain the grip and durability that Vans has been known for since ‘66.
